Which shoe themes should definitely not be missing from the order block? In the SEASONS BEST trend lecture at shoes in Düsseldorf, Karolina Landowski will once again provide information on the top 20 shoes and accessories of the new season. As a foretaste, here are six exciting key styles for next winter.

BOLD SOLES

In the new autumn/winter season they play the leading role: soles, bottoms and platforms. Rough and gritty, jagged and with an extreme profile, layered to form a platform and of course contrasting in colour – booties, loafers, lace-ups and sneakers put a lot of emphasis on the ground. The more distinctive, the better.

CHUNKY BOOTS

Combat Boots are now outgrowing themselves. Alongside lace-up ankle boots and chelseas, more and more tall boots with wide, straight shafts are now coming along on brute floors. Accentuated, wave-shaped frames and rubberised front caps provide exciting details.

HIKING BOOTS

Mountaineer models are now being realised in a particularly creative way – in an exciting mix of materials or cool black/white contrasts. The recipe for the reinterpretation of the outdoor classics: a combination of smooth and fantasy leather, contrasting piping and soles, characteristic hook lacing and padded heel areas.

CHELSEAS & CO

The Chelsea continues its success story – as a cool hybrid of bootie and loafer or decorated with striking gold jewellery chains. Shaft heights vary from just above the ankle to calf-high. Soft toffee and natural shades and clean black are among the colour favourites.

RETRO LOAFER

The loafer love affair continues: next autumn and winter, familiar loafer silhouettes meet chunky bottoms, striking profiles and extra-wide block heels. Reptile embossing and link chains as decoration must not be missing from the neo-retro look – either classic or monochrome in light neutrals or all black.

SNOW BOOTS

The trend theme of padding and buffers continues in autumn/winter 2022/23 not only on bags, but also on sporty snow boots. Whether in ultra-light nylon in feel-good colours or bright and elegant in a classy material mix of nappa, shearling and rubber – padding, quilting and cocooning silhouettes define sneaker hybrids and other urban styles.
