Farben, Handwerk und Inspiration in Hauenstein
At 14. and October 15, the Colour Circle Meeting of FASHION TREND POOL took place in the Palatinate – this time at the invitation of Sylvia Klemens in Hauenstein, at the traditional Josef Seibel shoe factory. Around 30 industry experts from design, trade and industry came together to jointly define the leather colors for Spring/Summer 2027 – in an inspiring environment between craftsmanship, history and innovation.
The Color Circle was welcomed by Franziska Seibel, who guided the participants through the “glass factory” with great commitment and provided exciting insights into the production steps of the Josef Seibel brand – from the idea to the finished shoe. Afterwards, the German Shoe Museum in Hauenstein opened its doors for an exclusive tour with Carl-August Seibel, owner and managing director of the family-run company, who personally guided the visitors through the fascinating history of the shoe. Even experienced shoe professionals were impressed by the variety and depth of the exhibition. Experiences, impressions and industry news were exchanged at the subsequent get-together with regional specialties.
TREND BRIEFINGS F/S 2027
The second day was all about creative work: FASHION TREND POOL fashion experts Marga Indra-Heide and Karolina Landowski opened the day with an intensive trend briefing in Josef Seibel’s inspiring open space, offering insights into the moods, colors and key looks for the coming season. The participants then worked together on the color selection: The shades for Spring/Summer 2027 were determined from a variety of color and leather samples in a lively, collaborative process. This gave rise to the three color themes CENTERED, ENERGIZED and GROUNDED – as an expression of the creative direction for the S/S 2027 season.
