Way ahead of its time:
The creative team with around 30 participants met again in Pirmasens to pick out the new leather and high-tech colors for F/S 24 at the COLOUR CIRCLE. To start the first day we were warmly welcomed by Ute Rosenfelder and her family in the company STOCKMAYER & Sohn. They have been an active member with us for many years and we benefit greatly from their extensive range of materials that they provide us, along with the COLORTEX company, for color selection. Then it was on to CAPRICE. It was simply overwhelming. Here we were able to experience live what the future of the shoe industry looks like. The conversation was immense and so it became a long, happy evening with best NETWORKING in EMILS Hotel.
The second day was now about the definitive color selection.
The tension was great. But after an extensive briefing with interesting presentations by Karolina, Gebhard and Marga, everyone was well prepared for the trends of the next but one F/S season and the selection proceeded swiftly. Of course, there were hot discussions and debates, but also a lot of laughter. At the end of the afternoon, we sat in the traditional circle (`Colour Circle’) to discuss current issues in our industry, before heading home somewhat sadly at around 4 p.m., because it was all over again.
The new leather color card F/S 24 is already in production and will be available from mid-November.
